I've learned:

don't think you can change anyone because you can't.

find your spirituality even if it means leaving everyone you know behind.

don't be afraid of change.

don't take your friends and loved ones for granted - they won't always be around.

there is life after death.

psychic abilities are real.

faith -does- move mountains it just takes about as long as it does to make one.

be patient.

be nice.

dream giant dreams. if those don't pan out, dream bigger ones.

keep your secrets.

keep your friend's secrets.

don't talk too much.

don't talk too little.

pay attention to the conversations that mean something to you. feel free to tune out stuff that doesn't belong to your worldview (i.e. violent images / talking / pictures).

remember that who you think you are is exactly who you are, only sometimes you will be too harsh on yourself.

call your mom more.
